Our services

LM Ring Consulting advises couples on engagement rings, independent of any single jeweler.

• Intro Call: a short first conversation of 15 to 30 minutes about your plans, your partner and your budget.
• Consultation: a session of approximately 60 to 90 minutes about cuts, stones, settings and budget, including preparation and follow-up.
• Full Guidance: a search for your ring that begins with a consultation of approximately 60 to 90 minutes. After that, we search for up to one week, or until you have found the right ring, and send you up to five rings per day that match the criteria we agreed on.

Rings are purchased directly from the jeweler, and the jeweler's own terms apply to that purchase.

Prices and currency

• Intro Call: free
• Consultation: 150 CAD
• Full Guidance: 750 CAD

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes.

Booking and payment

You book by sending a request through the booking form. We then confirm a time with you. Payment is due when we confirm your booking: before the appointment for a Consultation, and before the first consultation for Full Guidance. The Intro Call is free. You can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or by Interac e-Transfer. Card payments are processed by [payment provider, once chosen].

When the service is provided

Intro Calls and Consultations take place at the confirmed date and time, by video call or in person as agreed. Full Guidance begins with a consultation at the confirmed date and time, followed by up to one week of search, or until you have found the right ring.

Cancellation and rescheduling

• Intro Call: free of charge. If you cannot attend, we would appreciate a message, but no fee applies for late cancellations or missed calls.
• Consultation: you can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, a fee of 50 CAD applies. If you do not attend, a fee of 100 CAD applies.
• Full Guidance: once booked, Full Guidance cannot be cancelled.

Refunds

• If you cancel a Consultation up to 24 hours in advance, any amount you paid is refunded in full.
• If you cancel a Consultation less than 24 hours in advance, or do not attend, the amount you paid is refunded minus the applicable fee.
• Full Guidance is not refundable once it has been booked.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Independent jewelers

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
